OPEN CALL: Admissions for full-time 2026/27 BA, MA, and PhD studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts

Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA)—the largest and oldest higher education institution for art and design in the Baltic States—announces that applications are now open for Bachelor’s (BA), Master’s (MA), and Doctoral (PhD) study programmes for the academic year 2026/27. VDA offers a wide range of studio-based and research-driven programmes in fine art, design, media, architecture, conservation, and more, delivered across its campuses in the cities of Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Telšiai.

Prospective students from around the world are invited to apply through the Academy’s online admissions portal. Applicants can submit their portfolio, academic documents, and other required materials as part of the application process. Detailed information about programme structures, language requirements, and eligibility criteria is available on the VDA admissions website.

Application deadlines
BA programmes: Early admissions—February 28, 2026. General admissions—June 10, 2026. / MA programmes: Early admissions—February 28, 2026. General admissions—June 30, 2026.

International applicants: VDA encourages applications from non-EU/EEA students and provides guidance on eligibility and migration-related timelines.

To support applicants in preparing for submissions, VDA will host Virtual Open Days and consultations, offering insights into study programmes, application procedures, and portfolio requirements in February, 2026.
