PRESENTATION: Artistic March to Prespes-walking with ideas and images

On Friday, January 9th, 2025, from 18:00 to 21:00, the Institute of Contemporary Greek Art will host the interactive event Artistic March to Prespes: walking with ideas and images.
The Artistic March to Prespes is a process that has been taking place since 2007 in the Prespes region. It organizes artistic actions in Prespes that explore the landscape, history, culture, and ecological dimension of the area, in dialogue with its local particularities.
For the period 2025–2027, the Artistic March to Prespes is the coordinating partner of Walking Arts and Local Communities (WALC), which will establish Prespes as an International Center for Walking Art.*
The organizer of the Artistic March to Prespes is the 1st Painting Studio of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts (TEEΤ). The coordinator of the process is Yiannis Ziogas, painter and Professor (TEEΤ), head of the 1st Painting Studio of the Department.
