ASFA_HYDRA_EXTERIOR_068The Annex of the School of Fine Arts, Mansion of Emmanuel Tompazis, is one of the finest mansions overlooking the port of Hydra, that hosted and hosts professors of the School of Fine Arts as Yannis Moralis or Panagiotis Tetsis, for many decades along with the students of the School worked tirelessly, producing art work that often exposed to Hydra. There Margaret Lyberaki wrote the script of” Phaedra”, meanwhile even today the Annex always is bustling with students and graduating students even today that the means of expression have changed, resting and relaxing, working with computers, reading, discussing, and exchanging ideas and opinions on issues of art, while seminars carried out with the collaboration with foreign universities. Thereby the Annex to the School of Fine Arts in Hydra (as you will realize subsequently, through this column, has excellent buildings in other areas of Greece) is the most sought after because of the history, of the location and because Hydra is a pole of traction.
