ART-REVIEW:Group Exhibition at Marian Goodman Gallery-Paris

The group exhibition at the Gallery Marian Goodman in Paris, although it does not seem to have any meaningful concept, is really very good, because the viewer has the opportunity to see works of great artists which are either complementary, like the “Spiegel” (1989) by Gerhard Richter with Dan Graham’s “Pavilion Influenced by Moon Windows” (2000), either as stand-alone well-known artworks like “Oltremare” (1979-2017) by Giovani Anselmo, which every time you see it, it looks like you are seeing it for the first time. In my opinion, the benefit of these exhibitions is the experience itself, with artworks by great and important artists that encompass their aura, which is reflected in them, either they are newer or older(!). And even more interesting is the dialogue that develops each time between the one artwork with the other and also with the space that they are on show.–Efi Michalarou
