A new column is inaugurated in our magazine and presents the openings of the exhibitions, that for me is probably the most important day because is the artist’s day. For that reason, except the other days that I am visiting an exhibition for purely professional reasons (before or after the opening), I always make sure to go to the opening, because I think that is the day that we are honoring and paying tribute to the artist with our presence. Juliο Le Parc is a forerunner of Op Art and Kinetic Art, a founder member of Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel, he is a forthright, committed artist. His abundant work, in its many forms, imbued with a spirit of research and experiment, explores the visual field, movement, light, and the relationship between the work and the viewer. His solo exhibition at Galerie Perrotin in New York opened on 4/11/16, where he was honored by the presence of people of art world.
