OPEN CALLS:Oxygen-Fragmented Cities+Identities

oxygen_bogotà_extended_new_002_webIt’s LIQUID Group is a web based information platform, founded in 2001 by Luca Curci, dedicated to world-wide distribution of information about calls for entries, exhibitions and events. The platform includes a section dedicated to international art events’ organization that manages exhibitions of photography, video art, installation and painting.

It’s LIQUID Group organizes solo and collective shows, art residencies and international contest. Its object is to use new technologies to globalize the language of art, to connect artists working in every part of the world. Since its beginning, the group has organized more than 150 events all around the world, involving more than 5.000 artists. Every human being lives relating himself to the built and unbuilt geographical contexts, the cities as result of human evolution. Every part of the city reflects the aestethic, cultural, political and philosophical values influenced by the production of architectural form, and shows fragmented pieces of urban life. Fragmented cities and identities can be combined as a big collage, to create the link between the man and the space, the city and the ground to find new points of view, new ways of possible life in contemporary society. The Group invites artists and architects to share their ideas of cities and identities, in which they imagine to live. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation opens to: artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers, performers, architects and designers, associate groups and studios. The deadline for applications is 22/10/16 (11.59 PM of your local time).

It’s LIQUID Group is selecting all photography, design/architecture projects, video-art, painting, installation and performance art works to include in: OXYGEN – FRAGMENTED CITIES+IDENTITIES, that will be hosted in Bogotá , at Jorge Jurado Gallery (19/11-19/12/16).  More Info: www.itsliquid.com
