October is the month that officially signifies the start of the beginning of art season with two important Art Fairs, Frieze London (6-9/10/16) in London, where the whole city is tuned to Fair’s rhythm in parallel with Frieze Masters and very important exhibition at London’s Galleries and of course FIAC (20-23/10/16) in Paris, during the last years FIAC has been diversified and reformed, with an international profile and interest, since International leading large galleries are participating, at the antipode for the 2nd year is Paris Internationale (19-23/10/16) that welcomes up-coming galleries with more alternative searches, forming the basis of a dialogue that extends from Belleville, the new art center that developed in recent years in Paris with respective galleries abroad, while a number of important exhibitions are running in the major Museums, Galleries and the Foundations of the city. Do not forget, if you are in Paris the first weekend of the month (1 & 2/10/16) to see Anish Kapoor’s “Descension” at the Île de la Cité, the work is one of the 40 artistic projects installed along the river Seine in Paris for the 14th edition of Nuit Blanche, together with 150 other works placed all over Paris and beyond.
