Studio Marconi 1966-80: An Anthology, Mousse PublishingThe book “Studio Marconi 1966-80: An Anthology” by Mousse Publishing, retraces the history of Studio Marconi, an exhibition space founded by  Giorgio Marconi in 1965. Giorgio Marconi began his career as a gallerist during the height of the economic boom of the 1960s. His gallery Studio Marconi, located in via Tadino 15 in Milan, was an exhibition space which quickly also became a meeting point for young artists, intellectuals, critics, and collectors who gathered to discuss the artistic and non-artistic landscape of the time. Through these exchanges of ideas, Studio Marconi began to conceive the possibility of a periodic publication project, thus becoming also an editor. “Studio Marconi 1966-80: An Anthology” not only presents the complete publications of Decennale dello Studio Marconi 1966/76, an anthology which had been produced for the gallery’s tenth anniversary at the time. It also includes two other types of periodic publications – magazines printed on newsprint as well as small notebooks and bulletins- thereby retracing fifteen years of the Studio Marconi’s written history. An interview by Hans Ulrich Obrist with one of the gallery’s core artists, Valerio Adami, completes this volume.-Dimitris Lempesis
