The Platforms Project 2022 will be presented at the “Nikos Kessanlis” exhibition space at the School of Fine Arts (256 Piraeus Street, 182 35, Agios Ioannis Rentis), with a rich and multifaceted program of speeches, videos and performances by the participating groups. A breeding ground for young artists par excellence, where experimentation, research and the shaping of artistic identity are continuously requested, the exhibition space at the School of Fine Arts is the ideal choice for the Platforms Project, which aims to present the independent art scene via artists’ group initiatives. For the ninth consecutive year, the international exhibition Platforms Project has as its goal the shared search for solutions to contemporary questions of art and the indicative mapping of artistic activity as it is produced today in the framework of group initiatives of young artists in the international art environment. Following the successful launch of the Platforms Platforms Project 2020-21 which  the participation of 54 platforms from 24 countries with more than 800 artists,  Platforms Project 2022 is  involving 62 platforms from 26 countries with more than 800 artists expanding the global network built and communicated over the last ten years through the Platforms Project. The aim of the Platforms Project is to be at the core of creating and recording the pioneering trends in art and the development of relationships between the platforms. Thus, during its six years of operation, the Platforms Project has created a global network of independent artistic groups and spaces in direct communication with each other. During the exhibition of the Platforms Project 2022, a parallel program of speeches, performances and workshops will take place. The Platforms Project is not an impersonal event but an artistic community full of energy and freshness, giving time and space to an alternative art that could not be expressed anywhere else. Alongside the presentation of the Platforms Project 2022 exhibition, there will be conferences, speeches, performances and workshops. The Platforms Project is not an impersonal event but an artistic community full of energy, freshness, giving time and place to present an alternative art that could not be expressed elsewhere.
