SOCIAL ART: Jeff Koons-Apollo in Hydra Island

On June 20,inaugurated the exhibition “Appolo”, by Jeff Koons at Deste Foundation’s Slaughterhouse in Hydra island. The specific project on the island was in planned for a long time, but was postponed several times due to the pandemic crisis. A huge double-sided golden sun triggers the interest of visitors, with this work being the key element of all that one can see in the exhibition. The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by Greeks and foreign art lovers in order to honor the artist with their presence, but also to finally visit his work up close. -Efi Michalarou
