SOCIAL ART:LISTE Art Fair 2019
With great success the 24th edition of LISTE Art Fair, that started on June 11, came to the end. LISTE Art Fair 2019 was packed by collectors, artists, journalists, curators and galley owners all over the globe. For over 24 years the focus of LISTE Art Fair in Basel is to introduce and promote young galleries with primarily emerging, as yet little known artists to an international expert public. In the 2019 edition participated 77 young and emerging galleries from 33 countries. The participating galleries impressed both the internationally active art connoisseurs in attendance as well as media experts. A new initiative of LISTE Art Fair 2019 was the Joinery, On the one hand it is a place where galleries can extend their presentations by showing videos and performances that exceed the limitations of their stands, while on the other hand it is a meeting point and think tank that considers the latest topics in contemporary art discourse.
